IRCA Corporate Compliance Officer Certificate
1. Certificate Overview
The IRCA Corporate Compliance Officer (CCO) Certificate is a core qualification for measuring the professional competence of corporate compliance practitioners. It requires comprehensive assessment through three dimensions: values, knowledge, and practical management skills and experience. The certificate is divided into three levels: Junior, Intermediate, and Senior.

2. Core Application Requirements
(1) Values Dimension (Hard Threshold)
Applicants must provide a Certificate of No Criminal Record. Failure to provide it or having a criminal record will result in immediate disqualification from the application.
(2) Knowledge Dimension (Core Foundation for Levels)
a. Complete the corporate compliance special training courses organized by the official IRCA, fulfill the required class hours, and systematically master the core knowledge points such as basic theories of compliance management, relevant laws and regulations, and practical operation procedures.
b. Participate in and pass the standardized examination organized by IRCA after the training. Those who pass the examination will be directly awarded the Junior CCO Certificate, which is a necessary prerequisite for applying for the Intermediate and Senior Certificates.
(3) Practical Management Skills and Experience Dimension (Key to Determining Intermediate and Senior Levels)
1. Intermediate CCO Certificate: Hold the Junior CCO Certificate, and have, beforehand or afterwards, 3 years or more of practical work experience in corporate compliance-related fields (covering positions such as compliance risk control, internal control, and finance and accounting), and be able to independently complete practical work such as compliance management, risk identification and control within the position.
2. Senior CCO Certificate: Hold the Junior CCO Certificate, and have, beforehand or afterwards, 6 years or more of practical work experience in corporate compliance-related fields (covering positions such as compliance risk control, internal control, and finance and accounting), and possess comprehensive capabilities in overall planning of compliance work, solving complex compliance issues, and team management.
3. Application Tips
Applicants for different levels of certificates need to submit corresponding materials as required: To apply for the Junior Certificate, submit the Certificate of No Criminal Record, IRCA training completion certificate, and examination transcript; To apply for the Intermediate and Senior Certificates, additionally submit a copy of the Junior Certificate, a work experience certificate confirmed by the unit with a seal, and a brief description of job performance. Ensure all submitted information is true and valid.
4. Certificate Maintenance
After successfully obtaining the certificate, to ensure its continuous validity, applicants are required to complete 10 hours of follow-up learning and 3 hours of Peer-to-Peer communication within 1 year ("Annual Continual Education"). Only after meeting the above requirements can applicants continue to hold the certificate in the next year. Annual Continual Education can be exempted for the first year.
